Will he manage the impossible?

Next in line is the mega-popular medical dramedy «Dr. Driver». Another top Russian star, Georgy Kutsenko, plays the lead, and all ladies are crying their eyes out following his misfortunes or hold their breaths watching his heroic fight for the patients’ lives. This charming and exhilarating franchise, already in its 7^th season, brings any audience just the right amount of love, bravery, humor and admiration for the medical profession. The ambulance crew, led by Dr. Driver, gets in and out of the impossible situations, finding ways to save their patients in the most challenging circumstances. They never forget what’s at stake — people’s lives — even if their own personal dramas may seem overwhelming. Love for their families, trust in each other and incredible professionalism drive Dr. Koulygin and his team throughout the season. So, when they have to resuscitate one man back to life five (!) times or save a young man who fell and had his head pierced by a decorative horn, they never lose their cool. They rush to help and they succeed. Fantastic medical melodrama that would work perfectly for family or female audience worldwide.

To continue the star-studded lineup, let’s talk about «Central Precinct», S2. This police drama jumped to 19% viewing share upon premiere. It’s completely understandable, considering the cast and expertly twisted plot lines. Driven by desire to avenge his parents’ killing, Ivan Kolesnikov brings the full power of the law to fight his nemesis, Sergey Neretin, played by one of the most incredible Russian actors, Vitaly Kischenko. His acting actually gives chills to the viewers, he’s so believable as a bad guy that you’d want to destroy him yourselves. Yet revenge cannot rule the life of top criminal investigator — new cases demand his skills and attention. He successfully solves them, one after another, all while keeping the eye on the prize — bringing down his nemesis and his criminal empire. Emotional and believable, this series is a sure win for action fans worldwide.

Next would be another brilliant franchise, «Team One», S4. Based on real cases and developed with assistance from top Moscow criminal investigators, this series is for hard-core police drama fans. Colonel Bragin is suspended on suspicion of aiding and abating a fugitive, Internal Affairs are all over this case, but they will certainly crawl back to their desks after justice is done. Mysterious disappearance of a young man thousands of kilometers away from Bragin, nevertheless has a definite connection with his problems and only he can figure out what it is by solving the case. Solid criminal thriller that is guaranteed to bring male audience to screens.

Finally, the new and noteworthy historical drama «Plevako». Famous defense attorneys always bring about admiration, especially brilliant and charismatic ones. Based on a true character, this historical masterpiece is destined to be both fascinating and alluring. The series portrays Ma?tre Plevako, a legendary Russian lawyer from the early XXth century. Played by the most internationally recognized Russian star, Sergey Bezrukov, who gives the character his irresistible charm and enchanting charisma, PLEVAKO is poised to create a huge fandom and win the viewers’ hearts and minds. The series takes us back to the beautiful pre-Revolution St. Petersburg, filled with perfectly dressed noble aristocracy and poverty-stricken working class. It is them who Plevako takes to defend and they, in turn, make him their hero. Controversy and tension penetrate each episode of this drama. Wait and see for yourselves.
