Artyom Sotnikov, a successful Moscow lawyer, is suffering from a mid-life crisis. He is at the peak of his law career, but his personal life does not work out at all. Artyom decides to run away from women, work, and himself. He mounts his motorcycle and rides to the sea, to his hometown where his mother still lives.
Soon after his arrival Artyom starts working in a law firm named «City Protection». He is
missing the intensity of the courtroom and falls in love with his senior partner Alina Kochubey, the wife of a town prosecutor. The series centers on the everyday life of attorneys and their clients, and the office romance that means trouble for Sotnikov.
